This comprehensive pricelist includes all fees for surgery, anaesthesia, pain management, laboratory and examinations. This List does not include presurgical diagnostics and postsurgical medical aids (i.e orthesis for knee or ankle, crutches etc) nor physiotherapy.
These prices are average prices. Your particular case might be different, depending on many factors such as constitution, age and prior underlying conditions.

Anaesthesia is an important part of your orthopaedic treatment. Many of the questions and concerns patients have when they consider the possibility of surgery, are about anesthesia.

Nobody knows your individual medical case as well as the surgeon who performed your operation. For this reason, your post-surgical care and rehabilitation will be discussed in a post-operative consultation with your surgeon. Your surgeon may advise a rehabilitation period in the Gelenk Klinik or at a specialised inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation facility in Freiburg. We can also help you to organize your rehabilitation period back home.

The Orthopaedic Gelenk-Klinik was the first orthopaedic provider to be certified as a Centre for Endoprosthetic Surgery in Baden-Württemberg, Germany according to the strict guidelines (national regulations) of the supervising DGOOC e.V. "EndoprothetikZentrum" (EPZ). This certificate shows:

PD Dr. med. habil. Marquaß is a specialist for orthopaedics and trauma surgery, speciality trauma surgery and sports medicine at the Gelenk-Klinik Gundelfingen orthopaedic centre. In the area of surgery PD Dr. med. habil. Marquaß is specialised in knee surgery, shoulder surgery and elbow surgery.

He is a fellow of the committee for cartilage therapy and meniscus procedures at the Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery (AGA).

Since 2014, PD. Dr. med. habil. Marquaß has been a don for orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the University of Leipzig.

The focus of scientific research of PD. Dr. med. habil. Marquaß is treating cartilage defects.

The certification as foot and ankle surgery centre (ZFS) certifies the superior quality of patient consultations, diagnostics, surgery and after-care for foot and ankle conditions and injuries at the orthopedic hospital Gelenk-Klinik, Gundelfingen.
