Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine in Germany

There is a strong tradition of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy in Germany. Rehabilitation has been a focus of medical research and practice since the middle of the 19th century.

The high level of reconstructive and prosthetic orthopaedic medicine practised at the Orthopaedic Gelenk Klinik is unthinkable without the strong follow-up of rehabilitation and physiotherapy.

The Gelenk Klinik extended the in-house rehabilitative facilities in April 2012 by establishing the Gelenk Rehabilitation Department with five physiotherapists and extensive training facilities.
